Former Ted Scripps Fellows Leslie Dodson, Ted Wood and Dan Glick, who work together as The Story Group, produced this multimedia story on young people who have spent all but the first few years of their lives attending public schools in the United States and generally living “American” lives. But once these kids graduate from high school and turn 18, their undocumented status forces them underground to live in the shadows — without identification, unable to get legal jobs, fearing deportation.
